With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret K Marine (Federalsburg, Maryland), born in Independence, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wright Kirk and Margaret Wagoner Kirk; her former husband Wilton O. Marine; and her siblings, Jane Gentry, Faye Redd, Reba Steurer, Hazel Shields, Hobert Kirk, John Kirk and Joe Kirk.

She is survived by: her husband Bill; her daughters, Sandra K. Marine of Vienna, MD, Cheryl M. Simms (Clark) of Rhodesdale, MD and Brenda Thurman (Richard) of Vienna, MD.; her grandsons, Benjamin Thurman (Natalie) of Mableton, GA, Ritchie Thurman (Tina) of Lewes, DE, Chad Thurman (Brittney) of Seaford, DE and Ryan Simms (Lauren) of Sharptown, MD.; her great grandchildren, Carter Thurman, Adelyn Thurman, Brooklyn Thurman, Noah Thurman, Rylie Thurman, Emma Thurman, Taylor Simms, Logan Simms, Morgan Simms, Leah Simms and Luke Simms; and her sister Edna Yarnall.

Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19, services will be private on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00.
