He was predeceased by: his parents, Payton Wheatley and Ethel Bestpitch Wheatley; his wife Carrie Bell Ross of Hurlock; and his sisters, Mary Virginia Fishell, Bernice Trice and Katherine Smith.
He is survived by: his sister Doris Newell of Easton; his nephews, Kenneth Fishell (Barbara) of Federalsburg and Mel Newell (Ellen) of Easton; and his close friends, Robin Hurley and Scott Cecil.
