He is survived by: his wife Julia Mansfield Burns of Federalsburg; his children, Julia Hall (Brett) of Chestertown and David Burns Jr. of Federalsburg; his grandchildren, Katherine Alexander (Michael) of Kennedyville, MD, Lewis Hall (Kelley) of Federalsburg, Preston Hall of Chestertown, Bradley Hall of Chestertown and Edward Burns of Cambridge; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Hall of Bridgeville, DE and Hunter Hall of Federalsburg; and his sisters, Betty Quimby of Centreville, MD and Gloria Steward of Stafford, VA..
