It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Delores Horner (Federalsburg, Maryland), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert S. Horner; her son-in-law Dr. E. Kent Carney; her parents, William Shikalla and Anna Shikalla; and her siblings, Walt, Carl, Louise, Ruth, Martha and Gretchen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Ann Shirk (Frank) and Charlene Horner Carney; her grandchildren, Adrian Shirk, Ashley Shirk DiCarlo (Francis) and Jordan Carney; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Mackenzie and Lincoln DiCarlo; and her sister-in-law Fran Shikalla. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Paul's Lutheran Church, Cordova.
