She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roten and Anna Lee Osborne Roten; her former husband Wilmer Saunders; her siblings, Ralph Roten and Marie Severt; and her siblings-in-law, Fredia Roten and Hoke Francis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ola Francis of West Jefferson, NC, James Roten (Susie) of Creston, NC and Barbara Day (Deaver) of Elkton, MD; her nephew Doug Day (Debbie); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley and Chad of Elkton, MD; her niece Debbie Choplinsky (Keith); her great-nephew Josh; her great-niece Jessica of Elkton, MD; her nephew Dan Day (Jennifer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Colin and Kiley of Elkton, MD; and her brother-in-law Charles Severt of West Jefferson, NC.
