She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newby and Joan Newby; and her son Robert Hancock. She is survived by: her husband Jim McDonald; her son Brian Hancock; her daughter-in-law Tami; her grandchild Quinn; her daughter Patricia Werner (Evan); her sisters, Ann Williams and Joan; her brother-in-law Scott Horstkamp; her brother Michael Newby; and her brother-in-law John Figuracion.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elders Baptist Church (1216 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784).
In lieu of flowers, in honor of Catherine's wishes, donations may be made to the Elders Baptist Women's Ministry.
