He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Grice; his wife Brenda; and his granddaughter Erika. He is survived by: his sons, Sean Grice (Jennifer) of Dunkirk, MD and Steven Grice (Debbie) of Howie; his grandchildren, Sarah Parker (Tim) of Edgewater, Jack of Howie, Nick of Howie and Sam Grice of Howie; and his great grandchild Wesley Parker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Derek's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or The Leukemia Society.
