It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jody Gonce of Edgewater, Maryland, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jody may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jody touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pryor and Doris Brooke Gonce. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gonce; his son Joseph William Gonce of Chestertown, MD; his brother James Lee Gonce of Edgewater, MD; and his grandson Joseph William Gonce.
