It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Tippett of Edgewater, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brown and Esther Brown; her husband Joseph L. Tippett, Jr.; her children, Gerard "Jerry" Keith Tippett and Mary Joyce "Joy" Gerkens; and her grandson Keith Tippett.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph L. "Jay" Tippett, III of Potomac Falls, Jody Franklin of Lewes, DE and Janice Tippett of Edgewater, MD. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
