It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Elizabeth Sterling of Easton, Maryland, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Roland and Ellen Warner; her husband Charles W. Sterling; her children-in-law, Susan, Irene, Louis and Norman; her great great grandchild Isaac; and her sisters, Agnes, Nora (Buck) and Baby Hughey.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Joe" Sterling of Seaford, DE, Vivian A. Swann (David W. Sterling), Gloria E. Sterling of Barclay, Theresa D. Walls of Denton, Daniel "Danny" Sterling (Patsy) and Edith "Edie" Ross (Brian); her grandchildren, Karl, Diana, Norman, Charles, Donna, Paula, Milford, Amy, Jennifer, Daniel Jr., Nikki, Michelle, Lindsey, Tyler and Justin; her great grandchild Happy Grandmom; and her sister Madeline Pawloski of Rosedale. She is also survived by twelve great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Talbot Hospice.
