It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Powell (Dundalk, Maryland), who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Mekolon and Adolf "Skip" Mekolon; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Mekolon, Sonny Edward Mekolon and Dorothy Garman.

She is survived by: her husband Leonard; her children, Cheryl Hopkins, Leonard and Ronald "Louie" Powell; her grandchildren, William, Chris, Darin and Jake; and her sisters, Lillian Collier, Eleanor Gurley and Welch.
