She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Peebles and Geraldine Peebles; and her son Henry Ray "Jay" Swartz. She is survived by: her husband H. Ray Swartz; her sons, Thomas Swartz (Shawn) and Christopher Swartz (Hope); her grandchildren, Samantha Swartz (Bryn), T. Ray Swartz (Grace), Jayden Swartz and Jackson Swartz; and her siblings, Geraldine "Kay" Swindle (Jonathan), Joseph Peebles (Eleanor), Donald Peebles (Kathrin) and Pamela Marks (Douglas). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center in Leesburg, VA.
