He was predeceased by: his son Daryl Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Ronnie" Nelson; his daughter Kelly Nelson (Matthew Williams); and his siblings, Byron Nelson and Sieedah Abdellah (Hassan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
