It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nevelyn Evans Edwards of Delmar, Maryland, born in Milford, Delaware, who passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Nevitt Evans, Sr. and Lois Estelle Kelly Evans. She is survived by: her husband Vernon G. Edwards; her children, Lois E. Burkett and Michael Kirk Daugherty; her siblings, John N. Evans (Ruthett) and Nevitta E. Ruddy (Ron); her grandchildren, Erin Vongraevenitz (Dominick), Christina Burkett and David Burkett (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Destiny, Dominick, Jr., Aiden, Evan, Madison, Brendan, Shawn Vongraevenitz, Ruby and Mavis Burkett; and her nephew Bill Ruddy (Cheri). She is also survived by three step-children; nine step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
