He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Laird, Sr. and Daisy Belle Abbott Laird; his brothers, Jackie Laird and Billy Laird; and his nephew Denny Laird.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy L. Laird, Jr. (Suny) of Delmar, MD, Daisy Marie Laird Johnson (John) of California and Tammy Lee Laird of Florida; his brother Ricky Laird (Anna) of Crisfield; his grandchildren, Melanie, Natalie, Valerie, Stephanie, Miranda, Dakota, Courtney, Eddie, Danny, Janie, Scotty and Rhonda; his stepgrandson Jose; and his nieces and nephews, Rose Marie Thomas, Clayton "Buck" Laird, Billy Laird, Melissa Laird, Denise Howard, Billy Sterling and Diane Johnson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
