It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna L. Nelson (Delmar, Maryland), who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna L. Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Giordano and Edna L. Giordano; her husband Oscar W. Nelson, Jr.; her sisters, Joie Farlow, Angelina Giordano and Stella Austin; and her friend Robert Hickman.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Hopkins, Jr. (Laura) of Tyaskin and Page Bunting (Curt) of Delmar; her stepchildren, Diane Twilley (William) and Allen Nelson (Brenda) of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Devin, Trae, Jordan Bunting, Chris and Nicholas Hopkins; her great grandchild Wyatt Hopkins; and her stepgranddaughters, Sheri Aybar, Lisa Kumpar and Bridget Adshead. She is also survived by several step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
