He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances E. Shelton and William F. Collins, Sr.; and his sister Cynthia King. He is survived by: his children, Alyssia Pitts of Edgewood, William Collins, III of Denton, Raquel Stanley and Travier Collins of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Angalisa Demby and De'Adrian Rose; his aunts, Barbra Joynes (James), Delores Richardson and Joyce; his uncle Benjamin Collins, Sr. (Mary); his brother Edwin Cottman; his nephews, Adrian King, Nehemiah King and Timothy King; his cousins, Welton, Keith Tull (Joanna), Dewayne Terrell (Mary Ann) and Anthony Fontaine (Patricia); and his close friend Robin Donaldson.
