He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Carol Riggs of Washington, DC; his mother Patricia Mary Smith (Schultz) of Berlin, MD; his siblings, Gerald Smith (Bonnie) of Hebron, MD, Timothy Smith of Cambridge, MD and Mildred Price (Joseph) of Millville, DE; his parents-in-law, Carol and Les Henig Kensington, MD; and his siblings-in-law, Adam Riggs (Amanda) of Washington, DC, Jason Riggs (Susan) of New Orleans, LA, Jonathan Henig (Elizabeth) of Minneapolis, MN, Sara Riggs (Niki) of New York, NY and Rachel Henig (Jon) of Kensington, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
