Gilbert, III (Jay); his grandson Isaiah Gilbert (Zay); his sisters, Deborah Gilbert of Mesa, Beverly Deloatch of New Haven and Lillie Gilbert of Gilbert, Arizona; his niece Tonya Deloatch (Nikki) of New Haven, Connecticut; his nephew Kenley Deloatch, Jr. of New Haven, Connecticut; his cousins, Janice Wilson of New Haven and Michelle DeVane-Brown of Charlotte; and his former wife Gwendolyn Gilbert.
