She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Johnson and Edythe Johnson (Danforth); her husband Harry Hayward Carter, Sr.; her son Harry Hayward Carter, Jr.; and her siblings, Archie Johnson, Jr., Joe Johnson and Jewel.

She is survived by: her sons, David Carter (Sandra) and Scott Carter (Kim); and her grandchildren, Michael, Sherry, Tiffany, Stacey, Angela and Allyson. She is also survived by 7 great grand children.
