He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perdy Dickson and Lucille Dickson; his son Aubrey Dickson Jr. (Shontae); and his grandchildren, Aubrey III, André, De'Sia, Kimauri and Uriah. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.

He established the Save The Family No Time for Crime Foundation in 2009.
