We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2022, at the age of 92, James Otha Elliott of Clear Spring, Maryland, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hamby and Pearl C. Wolff Elliott; his foster mother Lillian Pittenger; his sisters, Gertrude Eaton and Dorothy Kelly; his foster sister Josephine Firey; his sister-in-law Carolyn Elliott; and his brothers, Marvin, Russell, Paul and Charles Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Elliott (Burger); his daughters, Cynthia L. Doub (Dennis) of Hagerstown, MD and Kathy S. Fales (Scott) of Mt. Airy, NC; his stepchildren, Darren J Smith (Beth) of Clear Spring, MD, Jennifer Archer (Rich) of Raleigh, NC and Robin Donaldson of Clear Spring, MD; his sister Hester Mullencamp of Falling Waters, WV; his grandchildren, AJ, Kimi, Andrew, Chloe, Alex, Sophia, Isabelle, Nicholas, Kassandra and Patrick; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Katherine, Charlotte, Kailynn, Lucas and Kylan; and his pet Precious. He is also survived by numerous half sisters and brothers and his loving companion.
