Marilyn Gorman Hopkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Gorman Hopkins (Chevy Chase, Maryland), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fae Gorman and George Gorman; her former husband Arthur Haddon Hopkins Jr.; her children, Art (Glory), Jean (Hoppy) and John (Denise); and her brother Eugene Gorman. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Donations in her memory may be made to Barnard College's Annual Fund, or to the Choral Arts Society of Washington, D.C. The family hopes to hold a celebration of her life once it is safe to gather again.
