He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Weiss Schwartzberg; and his sister Arlene Angell of Cleveland, Ohio. He is survived by: his children, Shana Irene Schwartzberg Brayton (Jonathan Brayton) and Robert Michael Schwartzberg (Sandra Yampell); his grandchildren, Eli Brayton and Ruby Brayton; and his nieces and nephews, Alan Angell (Beth), Steve Weiss (Ann), Linda Benjamin (Rodney), Darcy Angell (Paul), Doe Weiss and Andrea Weiss.
Memorial contributions may be made to either Birthright Israel Foundation, Jewish National Fund or Washington Hebrew Congregation.
