He is survived by: his wife Reba W. Childs of Chesapeake Beach; his grandchildren, Haven Childs and Hendrix King; his children-in-law, Caley Childs King and Brent King; his sister-in-law Bonnie Shifflett; and his brothers, Rudolf Childs and Robert F. Childs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
