She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Milstead (Magruder) and Cleveland Milstead; her husband William B. Slaughter; her children, William Longfellow, Fred Longfellow and Amy Longfellow; and her siblings, Edward, Francis, Lillian, Robert and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Longfellow of St. Leonard, John Longfellow (Carolyn Ann) of Chesapeake Beach, Candice Rogers (John Rogers) of St. Leonard, Debra Millikin (Mark) of Raleigh, NC, Richard Longfellow, Sherri Thompson of Arlington, Virginia and Robert Longfellow (Melissa) of Dunkirk. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
