He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Joan Appelbaum; his children, Bill, Sharon, Jim Appelbaum, Kathy Sauble and Scott Appelbaum; and his siblings, Ann Shlittler and John Appelbaum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
