He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Hamill Evans; his sister Pat Evans Dobrovolny (late Joseph); his children, Eric Evans (Holly), Jill Evans Kane (Chris) and Amy Evans Higham (Jay); his stepson Michael Upton (Lisa); his sisters, Joyce Evans Davis (late Robert) and Donna Evans Deltuva (William); and his grandchildren, Lauren Kane, Logan Higham, Nathaniel Higham, Christopher Kane, Aiden Higham, Asher Higham, Wilson Evans, Breya Higham, Declan Evans, Eaghan Evans, Christopher Upton and Brandon Upton.
The family has requested that donations be made to the Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church, The Parkinson's Foundation and the Ohio Valley Young Life Capernaum.
