She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Austin Bankert and Annie Elisabeth Bankert (Ward); her sister Betty Mae; and also, Julius and Verdie Ward (Hutchins).
She is survived by: her sister Jane Austin (Jimmy); her husband Robert Leroy Appler of Catonsville; her children, Martin Steven Appler, Rachael Brooke Appler, Austin Bankert Appler, Gilbert Keith Appler, Deborah Ann Appler, Meredith Barton, Kellen Barton, Gregory Lee Appler and Elizabeth Appler Gross; her brother-in-law Arthur Dowell Anderson (D. Anderson Chevrolet); her daughter-in-law Lisa; and also Calvin. She is also survived by her children, her sons and daughters-in-law and her grandchildren.
