He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Ruth Smith; his daughter Jennifer Raelle Smith; and his sister Donna Lou Akers. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Rae Shower (Joe Goddard) and Lea Rene Asbury; his grandchildren, Ashley Renee Asbury and Christopher Scott Shower; his friend Laura Mynaugh; his brothers, Danny Lee Smith and Alan Brent Gould; and also Jacqueline Mynaugh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
