He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maskavich and Agatha Maskavich; and his son Michael Maskavich. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Maskavich of Catonsville; his children, Mary Martha Swanson (Joel), John Maskavich Jr. (Kim) and Paul Maskavich (Barbara); his stepdaughter Diana Mosier (Bob); his grandchildren, Paige Maskavich, Karley Martin, Christopher Swanson, Zachary Maskavich and Collin Maskavich; his stepgranddaughter Emilie Mosier; and his former wife Audrey Maskavich.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, attendance will be limited to those contacted by the family. Interment in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville will be private.
