She was predeceased by: her husband John Carvel Howard; her parents, Harry T. Salfner and Katherine A. Salfner; and her brothers, Thomas and Frank Salfner.

She is survived by: her son Darrell Howard (Patti); and her grandchildren, Taylor and Grace.
