He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Hoy and Alice M. Hoy (Lefort); his grandson Kevin Donchez; and his siblings, Francis, Joseph, Lawrence, Robert, Alice, Regina, Agnes, Rose and Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Hoy (McGrath); his children, Dennis Hoy (Nancy) of Martinsville, VA and Cathy Donchez (Brian) of Ellicott City, MD; his grandchildren, Colleen Hoy of Nashville, TN, Chevy Chase, MD and James Hoy of Seattle, WA; and his sister Catherine Haack of Collegeville, PA..
