He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence D. Cooper and Emma V. Cooper; his wife Mildred "Milcie" Cooper; and his siblings, Mildred Jones, Clarence E. Cooper, LeRoy Cooper, Howard Cooper and Thelma Zurawski.
He is survived by: his son Scott J. Cooper; his grandchildren, Max Joseph and Ava Catherine; his brother-in-law Henry Weber; and his sister Dorothy Linz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews.
