She was predeceased by: her child Pearl Simmons (Reid); and her sister Annie Lass. She is survived by: her children, Naomi Schaffer (Roger) and Daniel Levenson (Janice); and her sister Myriam Barnett (Chris). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and their spouses, 5 great-grandchildren.

Brenda was married for 53 years prior to Richard's death from Parkinson's Disease.
