She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Jenks and Theresa Jenks (McCulley); her husband George Elder; her brother Gary Jenks; her brother-in-law John Paul Cook, Jr.; and her pet Tai.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Smith (Kevin) and Deborah LaComb; her grandchildren, Alexandra LaComb, John LaComb and Lauren Smith; her great grandchildren, A. J., Ava and Rory LaComb; and her sisters, Patricia Cook, Theresa Clauss (Kirk) and Jean Marie Gehring. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
