He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Paredes and Monina Paredes (Catelo); and his brother John Voltaire Paredes. He is survived by: his brothers, Ricardo Catelo Paredes of El Cajon, CA and Arthur Catelo Paredes of Sugar Land, Texas; his sister-in-law Susan Paredes; and his nephews, Alexander Paredes, Albert Paredes, Allen Paredes, John Paredes, Jr., Justin Paredes and Jordan Paredes.
