He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Margaret Smith of Bel Air; his brothers, Louis, Wilbur and Howard Smith; and also Mary Grace Smith (Gettings).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Grace; his daughter Jacqueline Barbieri (Dominic); his grandchildren, Michelle Lino (Kevin) and Nicholas Barbieri (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Charles, Luciana Barbieri and Eleni Grace Lino.
