She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Soloweigh and Emma Soloweigh (Bantley); and her son Lawrence Lloyd Scanlan. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Paul Scanlan; her children, Holly Anne Coleman (Joseph), Benjamin Joseph Scanlan and Peter James Scanlan (Samantha); her grandchildren, Finnegan Coleman and Amelia Scanlan; and her siblings, Ann Rockette, Michael Soloweigh and Theodore Soloweigh.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bel Air-McComas Family Funeral Home (50 W Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Name Church (500 N Julian St, Ebensburg, PA 15931). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Holy Name Cemetery.
