The memory of Donna Gayle Venable of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Deacon Benjamin L. Spencer; and her brother Benjamin L. Spencer Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Les C. Venable; her children, Eric S. Cooper, Sr. (Laila) of Oakton, VA and Michelle Grayson (Brett) of San Francisco, CA; her stepsons, Malcolm Venable of Los Angeles, CA and Martin Venable of Newport News, VA; her grandchildren, Emera S. Cooper, Eric S. Cooper, Jr., Elijah S. Cooper and Kason G. Venable; her sisters, Cynthia S. Hampton (Shelby) and Michele "Mikki" Spencer; her sister-in-law Lavern Berry (Waynard); her nieces, Leslie Berry and Kathryn Bowman; her friends, Gloria Hinton and Christa Coleman; and her daughter Amber Hawker. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the Laburnum Chapel (2110 E Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23222).
