Sweeney of Annapolis, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Sweeney and Ruth; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Bill (Jennifer) and Darren (Tara); and his grandchildren, Patrick, Katie, Keegan, Brendan, Aidan and Ethan.
