She is survived by: her children, Clara "Renee" Coates, Charles "Junior" Coates (Donna Rae) and Richard "Ricky" Adams (Diana); her grandchildren, Sherlonda, Marcus (Danyel), Sherika (Tina), Charles Jr., Amario, Steve Jr., Richard Jr., Shatia (Derrick) of Lael, Charmia and Janiya; her great grandchild Shamon; her son-in-law Victor Smith; and her siblings, Fredrick (Juanita), Sanuella (Reinaldo), Helen-Paulette, Micheal and John (Sándra). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, nine nephews, four nieces, and many great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
