Lee Slagle Obituary

We bid farewell to Lee Slagle in Annapolis, Maryland, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 30, 2024 at the age of 77. Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee "Charlie" and Iona Slagle (Laney). He is survived by: his sister Dr. Sue Ellen Haupt; his wife Renee Slagle (Messier); his children, Brian Lee Slagle and Christine Michelle Slagle Lilly; his grandchildren, Samantha Lee, Sydney Rose Slagle, Ava Grace Lilly, Adam Alexander Lilly and Christopher Haynes; his children-in-law, Jason Lilly and Samantha Autumn Wright Slagle; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Randy Haupt, Alex, Glen Messier, Olivia Messier Jastrzembski, Sarah Messier and Debbie Messier. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home (147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Saint Anne's Cemetery West Washington.

In lieu of flowers, he would suggest "Pay it Forward."
