She is survived by: her husband Craig Distelhorst; her daughter Christen Sweeney; her stepchildren, Todd Hutchinson and Laura Shine; and her grandchildren, Shannon Sweeney, P. J. Sweeney, Declan Sweeney, Timothy Hutchinson, Ryan Hutchinson, Hannah Shine and Nathan Shine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
