She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Alcantara and Emilia Alcantara; and her husband Tiburcio Arpon. She is survived by: her children, Chona Hawkins (Mikol) of Oxon Hill, Aprillyn Salgado (Juan) of Annapolis and Roy (Vickie) of Baltimore; her grandchildren, Anais, Isis of Malay, RJ and Allen; and her siblings, Engelberto Leyva Alcantara of Cavite and Lumen Alcantara Barron of Cavite. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
