He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Ackerley and Frances E. Ackerley (West); his siblings, George, John, Jim Ackerley, Barbara Ackerley, Elizabeth Mulligan and Mary Cooper; his siblings-in-law, Marion, Helen, Mary Ackerley and Paul; and his nephews, James and Randy Ackerley.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Ferrari of Woburn; his pet Cooper; his niece Jean Mulligan; and also Zachary Tompkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews.
