Joyce Gallagher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Gallagher of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, born in Eastport, Maine, who passed away on October 14, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sisters, Beverly Whalen and Cheryl Quinn; and her parents, Earl Hicks and Gertrude Hicks (Trott). She is survived by: her husband James S. Gallagher; her children, Sally Belanger (Peter) of Uxbridge, MA, Donna Nolan (James) of Milford, MA, Robert Spearin (Linda) of Millville, MA and Kevin Spearin (Debra) of Narragansett, RI.; her siblings, Judy Hicks (Jean Robb) of Fremont, NH and Peter Hicks (Carrie Blake) of Smithfield, RI; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Peter Belanger, Rachel Nolan, Rob, Jeremy, Katie Spearin, Kory, Spencer, Jacob and Aaron Spearin; her great grandchildren, Lilah, Rosie and Felicity Spearin; and her former husband Donald Spearin. She is also survived by five stepchildren, 10 step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
