It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Woeller of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, born in Milford, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Herman. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Woeller (Forsythe); his children, Lisa Simmons of Whitinsville and James Woeller (Michelle) of Barnstable; his brothers, Herman Woeller, Jr. of Whitinsville, John Woeller (Karen) of Grafton and Kort Woeller (Mandy) of Utah; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Simmons, Jacob Simmons, Evan Perkins, Michaela Perkins and Ryan Woeller.

“Doug was the most determined golfer at Shining Rock. He was very respectful of the course and especially nice to the staff. Doug was the first to volunteer to help out with the golf program that was started for special needs young players. He was great working with them especially Daulton who he gifted a left handed set of clubs. SRGC will miss Lefty . John Cahill”
