He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanovich and Josephine Stanovich; his son Michael David; and his siblings, Raymond Stanovich of Uxbridge, John Stanovich of Uxbridge, William Prior of Florida, Joseph Prior of Northbridge, Pauline Paquette of Uxbridge, Eleanor Tancrell of Uxbridge and Mary Clouart of Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Carole; his daughters, Karen (James Pockey) of Douglas and Pamela (David Pierce) of Whitinsville; his grandchildren, Justin Christopher Pierce of Shrewsbury, Matthew David Pierce of Oxford and Meghan Richmond of Oxford; and his brothers, Frank Stanovich of Chagrin Falls and Joseph Stanovich of Northbridge.
