As we bid Nikollaq farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nikollaq is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Jorgjie Papingu (Gjini) of Weymouth; his children, Klarita Kanani and Dhimiter Papingu of Abington; his grandchildren, Jola, Redi, Enxhi and Megi; and his brother Kela Papingu.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Homes (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine Greek Church (119 Common St, Braintree, MA 02184). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt Hope Cemetery (399 Pleasant St, South Weymouth, MA 02190).
